In Week 5 of Tamarindo Diaries, Adam Barber, Managing Director of Tamarindo Group, explains how to build a consistent, high quality sales pipeline.
I think one of the most common questions that we get asked, week-in week-out, irrespective of COVID-19, is this: how do we create consistency in our sales and marketing efforts? How do we make sure we end up with qualified marketing leads not just now, but in 3 months, in 6 months, in 9 months and in 12 months from now? And how do we make sure that is manageable for what we are trying to achieve within our business?
It’s a really interesting question which has no singular answer, and yet at the heart of it, we are increasingly seeing the focus on effective, strong communications and effective, strong networking. Wrapped around all of that is effective, powerful content and copy that is delivered in a variety of different forms.
I think if I was going to get you to think about one thing over the course of the next 7 to 14 to 21 days, it would be this: what are you doing now to tackle that challenge? What are the various different tools and techniques that you’ve got at your disposal that can help you address this? And, how can you make what you are doing already work harder for you?
What we are seeing at the moment is a variety of different creative ways that people are starting to work their way around that problem. As an example, we are seeing an uptake in webinar content coming through, whereas just a few months ago they were sitting in the realms of what people saw as niche or specific only to one audience. Now, we’re really seeing them across the space.
However, you must really think about how - when you are using those platforms and when you are considering them - how you make sure that the content that sits at the centre is as strong and as powerful as it can be, and that you’re also being creative to set yourself apart as a business and as an individual on that platform.
At Tamarindo Group, there are a few things we’ve been working on to help you in that quest and we’ll be talking about that over the course of the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
